Health Form/Infirmary/Medications: Health forms must be given to the Camp Health Director during check-in. This form must be on site or the camper will not be allowed to stay at camp. Make sure all information is filled out and signed. The Health Department requires that immunization records have complete dates, including day, month and year. All campers must have had a physical in the last 24 months, and a copy must be provided. A school physical is fine. The over-the-counter sheet must be signed by a physician, or no medications will be allowed to be given. All medications must be given to the Health Director. Prescriptions must be in their original containers, and will be dispensed only per directions on the label. The camp nurse must screen campers when they arrive. If a camper comes with a pre-existing illness or injury, she may be sent home. Campers who refuse to take their medications will be sent home.
Dear Counselor Letter: this lets the counselors in your daughters until get to know her before she gets to camp. It also allows for a more enjoyable, successful experience for her. Please be honest and up front about anything that will help us better prepare for your daughter. Also take the time to discuss any concerns with the counselor when you arrive.
Special Needs Form: Please let us make camp accessible for your daughter by telling us of any special foods, rescrictions, or other needs for her.
Family Emergencies: If your family has an emergency, please call the Camp Director at 543-2704. If at any time you are concerned about your daughter, please feel free to call.
Camper Release Forms: If someone other than a parent or guardian will be transporting your daughter to or from Camp Trefoil, you must sign the form giving them permission. Campers must be checked out with their counselor before leaving.
Family Visits: Parents and relatives are welcome to stay during arrival and departure times each session. During the week, visits are strongly discouraged. If an emergency arises, please call to arrange a time to visit.
Laundry: Washing that needs to be done in case of emergencies will be discreetly handled by staff.
Mail: Everyone loves to get mail, no matter how short her stay at camp. Please write cheerful letters to your camper at:

New E-mail Service Available: for $1.00 you can e mail your daughter while at camp. Camp does not collect this fee! See the attached form for information and directions. E mails will be delivered at lunch each day. It takes one full day for the e mail to be sorted and get to camp so please do not send a note on Friday, as your daughter will not receive it before she leaves.
Swim Bands: All campers are requireed to wear colored wristbands. Campers will be evaluated on Sunday evening and will wear a band that designates swim level. This requirement ensures the safety of all campers on the waterfront.
Homesickness: Help your daughter to make the most of her camp experience. Reassure her that it is normal to feel homesick and by talking to her counselor and taking part in activities will make her feel better. Calls home are made only when all other avenues have been unsuccessful and will be made only by the Camp Director.
Lost and Found: There will be a lost and found box located in the lodge. Please mark camper's items, so if found they can be easily returned. Camp Trefoil is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
Meals: All campers eat their meals family-style in the dining hall. Campers will be cooking in theirunits Monday and Tuesday. Waterfront picnics will be held on the beach each Wednesday.
Food: Campers are provided with nutritious meals and snacks. The Dining Hall will always have fresh fruit out for girls and staff. Other nutritious snacks are available at the Trading Post. Please do not send large amounts of snacks with your daughter. All food must be given to the counselor for safe storage away from animals. Trading post snacks must also be handed over for safekeeping.
Trading Post: The camp operates a small trading post where items needed for camp are sold. It will be open on opening ande closing days. Campers may visit the Trading Post each day and may purchase any number of items except for snacks. Campers are allowed only 1 snack item per day. Prices of items will be posted. Parents are asked to place Trading Post money in an envelope marked with the camper's name. At the end of the week, any remaining money and an account of money spent will be sent home. Girls will receive a Camp T-shirt when they arrive at camp. The price of the shirtis included in the registration fee.
